By requesting catering services from Terry Klingensmith's Gather & Plate Catering, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, conditions, and notices contained or referenced herein, please do not request services.
Terry Klingensmith's Gather & Plate Catering provides customized catering services for weddings, corporate events, private gatherings, and other special occasions. Services include menu development, food preparation, staffing, setup, and event coordination as specified in written agreements.
All bookings require a signed catering agreement and contract. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm your event date. The final payment is due 14 days before the event. Final guest count must be confirmed 7 days prior to the event date.
We accept major credit cards and bank transfers. Invoices are provided upon request. A finance charge of 1.5% per month (18% annually) will be applied to overdue accounts. If payment is not received within 30 days of invoice date, we reserve the right to cancel services.
Menu items are subject to ingredient availability and seasonal variations. We accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies when requested in writing at least 21 days before the event. Custom requests may incur additional charges.
Catering services include food preparation, delivery, setup, service staff, and cleanup. Additional charges apply for: extended service hours, staffing beyond standard agreements, travel beyond 30 miles, and specialty equipment rentals. Client is responsible for providing adequate venue facilities including kitchen access and power.
Terry Klingensmith's Gather & Plate Catering carries appropriate liability insurance. We are not responsible for injuries or damages caused by venue conditions, guest behavior, or factors outside our control. Client agrees to indemnify Terry Klingensmith's Gather & Plate Catering against claims arising from venue conditions or guest actions.
All food items may contain or come into contact with common allergens. Client is responsible for providing complete allergen information and dietary restrictions at time of booking. Please refer to our Food Allergen Disclosure for detailed information.
Terry Klingensmith's Gather & Plate Catering's liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes but is not limited to lost profits or business interruption.
Any modifications to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties. These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state where services are provided. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
